Rita’s Asian Slaw

2 – 3 oz. packages of  Beef-flavored Ramen Noodles
2 – 8.5 oz. packages of Broccoli Slaw Mix
(usually comes in 12 oz packs – either use all and adjust the dressing or approximate 17 oz)
1 cup of sliced Almonds – toasted
1 cup of Sunflower kernels
1 bunch of Green onions – sliced in 1/4 inch size pieces (optional)
½ cup of Sugar (can substitute with 1/4 cup Splenda)
½ cup of Vegetable oil (can substitute EVOO- extra virgin olive oil)
½ cup of Vinegar

Remove flavor packs from noodles.  Crush noodles and place in bottom of large container.  Top with Slaw mix.  Sprinkle with Almonds, Sunflower kernels and Green onions.
Wisk together contents from the flavor packs, Sugar, Oil and Vinegar until Sugar is dissolved.  Pour over the Slaw.
Cover and chill 24 Hours.  Toss before serving.
Yield: 8 – 10 Servings
